Kontera Contextual Advertising.

Have you ever visited a site where many words on the postings are highlighted and underlined? If so, then you already know that when you place your cursor on top of those words, a balloon type ads pops up with an advertisement. That is contextual ads that is provided by Kontera. It is similar to Google Adsense and Bidvertiser, you get paid per click, but in this case, the keywords that best describes the advertiser's products are highlighted and linked. Since this advertisement is within your postings, you have more chance of your visitors clicking on the Kontera ads. I have placed Kontera ads on my blogs as well so if you see highlighted underlined words, then you will know that's Kontera ads.

Visit Kontera.com to sign up as a publisher (blogger) and follow their instructions on how to place your HTML code that they provide for your blog.

PayPerPost - Get Paid To Blog

PayPerPost.com

PayPerPost.com is actually pretty cool. The name basically explains it all.
You get paid for your posting on your blog, sounds good huh? Just to explain shortly. If you are an advertiser looking to advertise whatever you want to advertise, then you set up an account with Payperpost.com and they will find you the blog that has the postings that can help you to advertise your product. You also can sign up as the blogger (which this posting is all about), which you can submit your blog and when you qualify, you are basically selling your posting on your blog to the advertisers. The catch is that PayPerPost.com pays you for your postings based on the advertiser's requirements. The requirements includes the tone of your postings, links and photos that are included on the postings and also the minimum words to use for your postings. So, if you are interested in how PayPerPost works visit the site by clicking the PayPerPost.com link above.

PayPerPost.com

  • Sign up PayPerPost - It's super easy to join.
  • Get your blog approved - This might take some time.
  • Review PayPerPost opportunities.
  • Write a blog based on advertiser's requirements.
  • PayPerPost.com reviews the post and decide whether your posting is approved or declined.
  • Once approved, you keep the posting for at least 30 days.
  • Payment are paid through Paypal only, so open up a Paypal Account.

The key to making money on this site is to take on as many opportunities as possible. Of course you probably figured that out already. The minimum payment for your posting is $5. You can increase the amount you want to sell your postings, but for a starters, it is wise to start with the minimum.

Good blogging to you all!!

Companies that offer Affiliate Programs

Affiliate Programs to join.

I have posted some ads on the right sidebar with affiliate ads. I have posted them to show you how it would look like on your blog. I have also placed a title on each affiliate ads so that you can know which are from which affiliate companies. So here are the descriptions of each affiliate companies and their programs. Remember!! All these affiliate companies offers free sign up, so you won't have to buy anything or pay anything to join.

  1. Clickbank - Clickbank offers digital products to promote and also offers good return on each sales. The commission for each sale can be between 25%-75% of the sales value. That's a hell of a deal. That's if you can bring good traffic to your site and also make your ads look interesting and promote each items well so that others will at least visit the site you promote.

  2. Amazon.com - Everyone have heard about Amazon right? Since they are so famous, people can have trust on items they purchase on Amazon. The commissions are not as much as Clickbank, but will have more clicks to their ads because of Amazon's reputation. More people clicking on the ads can resultin sales so research what people are looking for the most and find those items to post them on your blog.

  3. Linkshare - Linkshare has some great well known companies like Sony,Dell,Netflick,American Express, etc. Each companies post how much commission their ads will make you. The hard part is getting your blog or website approved by the companies. Most of the well known companies will review your site and can reject your application if they feel that your blog or website is not generating much traffic. My advise is that you might want to try less well known companies first and after you start having more traffic to your blog, you would want to apply to the well known companies.

  4. Commission Junction - Commission Junction is basically same as Linkshare. They both offer many companies, which includes well known companies as well. At Commission Junction, you will also have to apply to the companies. Which you will be approved or rejected.

You can find these site on Google search engine. They are all well known so they will be on the top of the list. Follow their simple instructions on signing up and you will be posting affiliate ads on your blog in no time. Like I said before, they are absolutely FREE, so feel free to join and try it out.

Contextual Ads

Google Adsense or Bidvertiser? Your Choice.

Contextual Ads are ads that you have seen many times when you visit other websites. It is very popular and best part to this ads is that you get paid everytime someone clicks the ads you post on your website or a blog.
The pay amount ranges from $0.05 to $10 for each click, but most of them pays around $0.05 - $0.10 per click. It doesn't sound much and seems not worth your time, but when your blog generates good amount of traffic, it will generate a decent earning.

Now that you know how contextual ads work, you want to know how to sign up to post them on your blog. Well, you have few choices. The most popular Google Adsense. If you have Google Account, then you can sign up by visiting this site: https://www.google.com/adsense. It's fairly simple to sign up. Just fill in the needed information and Google will review your blog and decide whether you qualify or not. It take around 1 to 2 weeks to let you know if you qualify.

Then there is Bidvertiser. I prefer using bidvertiser because you basically get approved right away. It is very easy to sign up as well. You can click on the Bidvertiser banner above to sign up for your account.

No matter which one you choose to sign up, there are rules you need to follow. If you do not follow their terms they will terminate your account. The terms and condition is there for you to review while you are signing up. Most important thing you need to remember is NEVER CLICK ON YOUR OWN ADS or ASK SOMEONE TO CLICK YOUR ADS. They will know and terminate your account. Let your blog's traffic generate the income for you.
